| Project Description |
| QHC Trenton Memorial have renovated and expanded their existing building to provide new accommodation for Diagnostic Imaging, Complex Continuing Care Inpatients and Rehabilitation Therapy. The design has provided for further expansion for consolidation of women’s diagnostic services such as mammography and ultrasound. |
| The Complex Care patient unit has been developed around a central landscaped roof-top courtyard for therapeutic and recreational use by patients. |
| Phase Two of this project involved developing tie-ins between the new and old buildings and renovating the former Emergency Department and waiting room for Diagnostic Services. A number of services will remain in the original building, including the Complex Continuing Care unit (30 beds), Administration, Diagnostic Services, Cardiopulmonary, Facility Services, Food Services, Material Management, and Physiotherapy. The existing building remained fully operational during the course of this construction. |
