Triple the size of Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging Departments (to be located in the new north Wing) |

Double the size of Critical Care Unit (to be located in the new north Wing) |

Create a state-of-the-art Birthing Centre (to be located on 5 South Langstaff Wing) |

Create negative Pressure Rooms for isolation of highly infectious patients (located throughout the facility) |

Provide Schedule One Mental Health Facilities including 6 new Secured Beds (to be located on Level 3 along with the Shaw Clinic along with a new corridor linking 3 West (Douglas Storms Wing) and 3 South (Langstaff Wing) |

Add 87 new Inpatient Beds including new Acute Care Medicine Facilities (in the new north Wing) |

Expand Fracture, Plastics and Ophthalmology Clinics (on Level Two of the Langstaff Wing in the space currently occupied by Dialysis) |
