| Project Description |
| The proposed work consists of the refurbishing of eight existing anaerobic digestion tanks and associated control buildings, and the conversion of four existing decant tanks to digested sludge equalization tanks, at Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant. This refurbishment work is required to make the digester tanks structurally sound, to bring them up to Building Code standards and to improve the efficiency and performance of the digesters. The conversion of the decant tanks is required to both maintain the digestion system hydraulic retention time required by the Ministry of the Environment during the digester construction period, and to provide additional system capacity. |
