| Project Description |
| This new secondary school and public library is a joint building complex situated in a major community park. The three-storey, 150,000 s.f. school and the 12,000 s.f. public library are provided with separate and distinct entrances, however the library has been designed to service both the community and the student population of the school. At the point of linkage, the school’s computer labs are intended to be used by the library after hours. The design of the school is based on the new curriculum for secondary schools and will feature a high degree of flexibility utilizing a pod concept for classroom organization supported by central resource rooms. |
