Sheridan Villa will undergo some redevelopment to upgrade the centre to the new design standards set by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The upgrades will be done within the existing building structure. Once construction is completed, Sheridan Villa will operate 142 long-term care beds, a reduction from its current 236 beds.
The redevelopment will improve the environment for Sheridan Villa residents. The centre will have several resident home areas with their own dining and activity areas and a terrace. Residents rooms will be more spacious and the Adult Day Program space will be improved. |
