Description

The station will be designed to meet the requirements of a minimum LEED® Silver Certified. (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)® The station will be AODA compliant and have an approximate area of 10,500 sq. ft.

The building will be designed to enhance the heritage of the local community within the Guidelines established under the Kleinburg-Nashville Heritage Conservation District Study for new developments in the area.  The station will have three (3) drive-through apparatus bays, ancillary offices, hose tower, Male and female washrooms and provide living quarters for the crew on shift.

The project will also consist of site Services, grading and paving for a site of approximately 1 acre, site Lighting, fencing, landscaping and security and septic system.
