Toronto’s Runnymede Healthcare Centre Site

Work is moving along on the Runnymede Healthcare Centre in Toronto being built by Bondfield Construction Co. Ltd. The four-storey, 200-bed, state-of-the-art hospital was started in November 2007 and completion has been scheduled for summer 2010. The 178,000-square-foot project will include therapy rooms, a chapel, a town square, two courtyards and a therapy garden. The Runnymede Healthcare Centre was designed by Stantec. Consultants are Halcrow Yolles (structural) and H.H. Angus & Associates (mechanical/electrical). Subcontractors include: Anpro Excavating & Grading; Forma-con (formwork/rebar supply); Dufferin Concrete; Geo. A. Kelson Co. Ltd. (mechanical); Plan Electric Co.; General Sprinklers Inc.; and Pollard Enterprises Ltd. (roofing).
